The part that is discarded from processing the cocaine base is sold today on streets to children from their early age of 8 years old. This waste that is mixed with other things like boric acid, talc, sugar, cornflour, or with other drugs and substances, the procaine ( a local anesthetic of similar chemical structure), or with other stimulants, like amphetamines.
The short-term physiological effects includes brain stroke, heart attacks, respiratory failure, dilated pupils, increased temperature, heart rate and blood pressure, strange behaviors, erratic and violent, , Tremor, dizziness, muscle spasms, seizures, headaches, gastrointestinal complications, including abdominal pain, nausea, paranoia, restlessness, irritability and anxiety.
A state of increasing irritability, anxiety and paranoia that may result in a paranoia psychosis in the whole meaning, in which the individual lose the sense of reality and experience visual and auditive hallucinations.
Deaths related to cocaine are caused by a cardiac arrest or a heart attack followed by a respiratory arrest.
