Occupy London solidarity with Occupy Wall Street (at US Embassy)

Then a gang of four cops escorted us (surrounding us) to the front of the building on the empty deserted cordoned off street. We were made to wait several hours and never let into the embassy proper. Eventually two people from the embassy came out; at first not willing to identify themselves or their designations (they handed us blank business cards with flags on them) eventually telling us they were from the press office.
Totally unsatisfactory; they refused to let us in; they refused to let us book an appointment to see someone from the ambassador's office. One woman said that she faced deportation because she was eastern European, but was also an American citizen.
I said to the press officer:
"In light of ethnic cleansing at Dale Farm I find it very disturbing that you do not take action to assure this woman's rights as a citizen of our country (your prime and only job) and that since we are under duress you should admit us into our embassy - I find it very distressful that The American embassy, in light of Dale Farm sends British police to prevent access to our own embassy - I'm under duress; I demand access to our embassy!"
Thay gave us a load of state run bollocks, then we left; but loads of good media highlighting on British and American police states.
