Eco-Warriors Plan World's Greatest Environmental Project in London Area
The Working Class Heroes | 08.05.2011 22:35 | Climate Chaos | Ecology | Workers' Movements | World
Some of the original road protesters from the 1990s have already moved into Hounslow near Heathrow Airport in preparation for working with local residents to help them transform their derelict run-down Dickensian neighbourhood into the world's first fully sustainable eco-town as the earth faces unprecedented ecological cataclysm.
The entire local community will be encouraged to work together with environmental campaigners to create a giant futuristic eco-village dedicated to cutting Hounslow's carbon emissions to zero by using renewable technologies, permaculture, tree planting, and various other genuine eco-friendly solutions to global warming and climate change.
Local people will be encouraged to declare their independence from central government and to take control of their own local affairs using the system of participatory democracy at People's Assemblies following the style of the Zapatistas in the Chiapas mountains in Mexico.
There will be a local People's Bank for the Hounslow area with a local currency which will be used to keep the local money circulating in the local community and helping to regenerate the environment in the entire neighbourhood.
The eco-warriors will help to make Hounslow self sufficient in all its needs with local farms producing local food and local micro-generation of electricity by the local people.
Hounslow has become just another victim of the deficit spending cuts and of government, corporate, and local council neglect, with high levels of poverty and unemployment, whole streets full of derelict boarded-up houses, shops, and factories, and thousands of desperate homeless people.
Many refugees who have flown into Heathrow Airport from eastern Europe are now living in filthy abandoned buildings with no water, electricity, or any of the basic necessities of life, and some of them have even been reduced to catching and cooking rats to survive.
What little money a lot of the homeless and the unemployed people in Hounslow do manage to earn comes from collecting scrap metal and other rubbishy tat that has been thrown away or otherwise dumped by local residents.
Hounslow has become like most of the towns and cities in a lot of third world countries where many of the local people live in absolute squalor, poverty, and despair in rubbish dumps and unhealthy festering buildings.
Meanwhile the wealthy politicians and corporate leaders in Britain live in obscene luxury at the people's expense, and they are accusing and blaming the poor, the homeless, the sick, the disabled, and the unemployed of causing all the crime, poverty, and the financial corruption.
However it is the capitalist system itself that has been directly responsible for causing the worldwide banking meltdown, the wars, the global warming and climate change which are driving the human race to extinction this century by the burning of fossil fuels.
Hounslow is believed to have been deliberately neglected and left to fall into a state of disrepair and devastation by the government and the corporations because of its proximity to Heathrow Airport which is earmarked for expansion with a third runway which will eventually completely destroy the villages of Sipson, Harmondsworth, and Harlington.
The Extinction Eco-Village in Hounslow will attempt to mobilise the entire local community to get involved with raising awareness of the issues of human rights, social justice, world peace, and environmental regeneration, by implementing genuine solutions to global warming to save humanity and ensure the survival of future generations.
The Revolution which is intended to overthrow the British government to replace the capitalist system with a new alternative system of localisation, environmentalism, and environmental economics, is not seeking political power but plans instead to give the power back to the ordinary working people in their own local communities.
The eco-warriors in north London who provide a support base for many other peace and environmental activists throughout the London area will be relocating soon and we may possibly be moving into the Hounslow area to join some of our friends and extended family who are already there.
As a result of our continuing support for the Libyan Freedom Fighters they have offered us the use of a large site near the Benghazi docks where we would be able to help the local residents and the transitional National Council transform their liberated city into a sustainable eco-city, and Libya itself into a genuine eco-country for the 21st century.
However it is not possible for us to move all our tools, vehicles, and equipment to Benghazi yet and it would make more sense for us to wait until we have built up our numbers and we have managed to persuade a lot more dedicated environmental campaigners to work with us.
The Working Class Heroes are appealing to Neil Young to come to Britain to headline a concert for the Children of Libya to save them from the continuing atrocities that they are facing every day in their country.
It is being proposed that the concert should be held at the Extinction Eco-Village in Hounslow with a line-up of alternative musicians and performers, and that instead of trying to raise money we will broadcast the message about saving the human race from being driven to extinction by the burning of fossil fuels.
We will also organise a convoy of coaches to take food and medical supplies to Libya and we will be appealing for vehicles, fuel, medicines, and baby food.
The environmental movement in Britain has been actively supporting the youth movements in the Middle East since the revolutions began with children, teenagers, and students organising local resistance to their governments on the social networking sites Twitter and Facebook.
The eco-warriors believe that the Children's Revolution will be the last hope for humanity to save itself from being driven to extinction by the corrupt and dangerous capitalist system which is destroying the planetary environment, making the earth uninhabitable, and robbing future generations of any hope of surviving beyond the end of this century.
Runaway global warming is causing the chain reaction of natural disasters including earthquakes, tsunamis, and volcanic eruptions, and the unprecedented worldwide climate chaos is about to escalate to Apocalyptic proportions according to thousands of eminent and reputable United Nations' climate scientists.
It is time for the environmental activists in Britain to demonstrate our commitment to the cause of saving the human race from being wiped out by our governments and the transnational corporations that illegally employ the politicians.
The eco-warriors propose that we should all come together to unite and join forces with the local people in Hounslow to create the world's first futuristic eco-village to set an example of the way forward to rescuing the people of the world from the looming global warming cataclysm.
What we achieve in Hounslow could be emulated in every other small local community in every country everywhere to finally put a stop to the burning of fossil fuels, the destruction of the earth, and the extinction of the human species.
The discovery by international scientists of the imminent extinction of humankind this century may well go down in history as the greatest contribution to the survival of the human race ever revealed.
As John Lennon sang: “Come together, join the movement, take a stand for human rights”.
Welcome to EXTINCTION, the Eco-Village on the Edge of Eternity.
A festival of salvation, a new dawn for a brighter tomorrow for future generations...
A new world arising out of the ashes of the old.
Today Hounslow, tomorrow the world.
In accordance with the Indymedia editorial policy we are proposing that feature articles about the plans for the environmental movement to transform Hounslow into a sustainable eco-friendly neighbourhood should be published on all Indymedia sites as soon as possible...
Please call us on 07574092829 at any time if you would like more information about the proposed Hounslow eco-town which will be a genuine grassroots project that is not being organised by a secret committee of undercover James Bond wannabes.
All the different environmental groups will be encouraged to work together with each other as identifiable autonomous organisations that will not be under a collective central bureaucracy vulnerable to being hijacked and taken over by government and corporate interests.
Thank you,
The Working Class Heroes
