Another Armed Turnout by Nottinghamshire Police

Thursday 5th May
In the middle of the local election day, I happened across another armed turnout by Nottinghamshire Police.
At about 12.00 noon, at an address at the top of Woodborough Road on the Mapperley Plain, there were 5 police vehicles and for a brief period the force helicopter.
It appeared to be a news-worthy event and I took these pictures. It is the latest in a number of such incidences that I've witnessed. I am concerned [as many are], that although police generally are un-armed, these appearences do appear to me becoming more frequent. Becoming more normal in fact.
I have no idea of the issue or threat here. I consulted the Nottinghamshire Police newswire on their website and rang the 'voicebank' for further information, but the incident was not recorded on either.
I thus emailed the force press office to ask for a statement on the incident but have received no reply. So have hung about a bit before posting these so can only say that Nottinghamshire Police had no comment to make.
