"Hope it gets cold down there tonight and we keep them penned in for another 6 hours!"
The words of MacDara Conneely, an officer with the Metropolitan Police. The following transcript was taken from a facebook dialogue involving Conneely back in November 2010, during the student protests. Please spread.

"Anon thinks she might actually hate year 10..."
MacDara Conneely: "I'm with you. Not that I have ever met Year 10 - but they are after all students; and at the moment all students are the enemy as far as I'm concerned."
Anon: "Ah, police tolerance... Mind you I don't blame you. Any peaceful protest always gets highjacked, they should know that by now."
MacDara Conneely: "True, and the girl trying to stop people trashing the police van deserves all my respect. However, the problem being that as these things get hijacked, the 'peaceful' protestors simply join in rather than walking away or trying to stop it."
"The excuse of 'Well, everyone else did it so I just joined in' didn't work for the nazi's and it isn't going to work for this unwashed shower! Hope it gets cold down there tonight and we keep them penned in for another 6 hours!"
