Defend the Socialist People's Libyan Arab jamahiriya!
The Anti Imperialist Indendence Association of the UK issued the following statement.
Anti imperialists should oppose any imperialist intervention in Libya and any attempt to destroy the Socialist People's Libyan Arab Jamahiryah by a so called "colour revolution" or "pro democracy" protests
The Libyan revolution carried out by Gadhafi was good,he kicked out the US imperialists and British and nationalised oil and introduced free education and free health care..Participatory democracy through the People's Congress and People's Committee's was established.Maybe he went off the rails a few years ago by capitulatening to the US.He gave up the Libyan nuclear programme and even offered to go to the DPRK to try and persuade them to sell out !
However as the USSR,Yugoslavia and socialist countries of Europe found out too late the US has the dagger in the hand behind its back and conspires to destroy.
The current crisis in Libya is not about "democracy" but the US and others seizing control of the Libyan oil industry.The protestors are being controlled and manipaulated by the US .They are carrying the flags of the old Libyan monarchy.These are reactionary and backward protests.
