Action against the cuts in Taunton
Anti Cuts Action | 22.01.2011 00:22
Meet at 1pm at the war memorial!
Whilst most of us face cuts to jobs, services, wages and working conditions corporations like boots and ulra-rich induviduals like (topshop owner) philip green don't even pay their tax.
We're told the cuts are unavoidable, but the likes of philip green are avoiding/evading tax to the tune of £95 billion pounds every year* and the government are too busy cosying up to them to chase them for it. That's enough to cover the cost of ...the vast majority of the public spending cuts (and don't even get us started on bonuses).
Join us in tour of taunton, to shame the tax dodgers and 'politely' inform them that we're not going to put up with it anymore!
Bring leaflets, banners, noise, and anything else you think will be handy on the streets!
