GLAA Protest Animal Experiments at London's Institute of Neurology

The Institute of Neurology (IoN), part of University College London, has been exposed on two separate occasions and the demonstration was set to draw attention towards not only the animals killed there, but the archaic nature of animal research. Anybody walking past would not realise what is going on behind the cold, grey walls of this barbaric laboratory, situated in Central London.
Donned in funeral attire, protesters holding candles and flowers gathered round a monkey-masked campaigner shroud in a surgical blanket. Local residents walking past, who were previously unaware of the vicious monkey experiments happening metres from their homes, took information and offered support.
The demonstrations was certainly effective, with many members of the press present to cover the facts at hand and help draw attention to the cause.
As a new group, we will continue to hold effective demonstrations throughout London on a regular basis and spread the message of animal rights and openly condemn the archaic practices of vivisection.
