Disability prejudice at Millwall Football Club

This is the welcome from an administrator of Millwall Independent Supporters Association to a young adult with autism.
You might imagine that Millwall had enough of a history already, without this kind of reaction to a young adult with autism joining their supporters forum. Yet this young man's value is determined by the stereotype that he may require a carer to escort him into the disabled section ("if so, can you let me be your 'carer' and get me in for free?
you'll only have to put up with me for 5 minutes before the game, once we get in i'll move on and then meet up the following week.") or perhaps might by some kind of artistic savant.
How does one combat this prejudice, other than bringing it into the light of day?
