Fascist EDL try to confront SWP protesters in Leeds

Today a group of activists from the SWP descended on Leeds to stage a protest against the British Army at a recruitment office.
We are very pleased with the turn-out with close to a hundred members and supporters turning out for the event.
Like all of our demos all went peaceful up until a group of 20-30 EDL shown up, the EDL members hurled abuse, waved the Israeli flag, chanted ;God save the Queen' and threw bottles at our peaceful protest.
That was until members of our protest charged towards them and confronted the racist, Nazi, Islamophobic, Zionist, Patriot, Imperialist, Combat 18, NF, BNP, UKIP, KKK, Loyalist, English Defence League who then had to be escorted away by police for their own protections.
In short the EDL fascists failed to disrupt our peaceful of over 200 Socialist Worker Party activists.
No party sam!
