True that astrology is a cult science more than 4000 years old but should not it be banned/ discontinued as did had practices of sati pratha, dowry, beings bali, child marriage etc? Of course, as an hobby astrology, palmistry could go on. But why such self claimed cult must be practiced for personal/professional benefits or in the name of God , claiming your self as God’s chosen one or God’s mysterious pampered agent ?
I am strongly against selling God / earning profits in the name of God / fooling/taking advantages of fear, phobias, ignorance of people who are already victims of diseases, trauma , over coming their financial instabilities, inabilities, insecurities or mere have a desire and dreams to earn wealth, fame, fortunes etc.
Needless to add here that so far, self style God wo/men had only succeeded to accumulate enormous wealth - forming luxurious trusts & ashrams by taking various forms of donations from innocent and ignorant people rich /poor . The wise world knows the fact that such God wo/men and gurus are countless today cropping up like mushrooms. Many such gurus flaunt and wander around the world parallel as world class rich & famous celebrities do. Though God wo/men are meant to live and lead a very simple lives as bikshuk or sanyasi but such God wo/men use all available amenities, updated gadgets which even Bill Gates, Laxmi Mittal, Ambanis , Vijay Mallya may envy.
