British Airways Scab Union Exposed

the masterminds behind the newly forming ‘Professional Cabin Crew Council’. In doing so they have romanced a small number of misguided cabin crew who are seeking to
undermine the support for your Trade Unions, for their own self aggrandisement.
communications are originating from the very bowels of Waterside!
Our sources and information confirm our earlier suspicions that there is acute psychological warfare being waged upon us as a community.
The recent spread of viral emails emanating from ‘The PCCC’ shed light upon recently overheard secret conversations between senior level managers in a quiet seating area on the 3rd Floor of Waterside in the week before Christmas. A group of four BA
employee’s, three males and one female, were discussing a ‘counter insurgency’ style
campaign against Unite, to begin shortly before the next ballot notice. A meeting in ‘Madrid’ was detailed, as was a series of weekly updates to be shared on private email addresses only.
One of the men was wearing a ‘visitors pass’ – indicating that he was an outside contractor. One of the men had a cabin crew airside ID as did the female, and the third
man was a senior BA manager.
More worryingly, it was very clear that British Airways is seeking the advice and expertise of an outside party and that they are financially committed to supporting its cause. The ‘campaign’, as it was discussed, was to commence as a low-key operation to pick off those more susceptible to the alluring undertone of ideological, yet
bogus suggestions. The strategy includes, when faced with questions and enquiries of a
probing nature, the same platitudes and smokescreen responses would be rolled out by
anonymous senders – for at least the duration of the ballot in an attempt to influence the vote, undermine its strength and destabilising the trade union membership. There were also discussions around the precondition of a ‘no strike agreement’ removing your
inalienable right to take industrial action against your employer.
If you have any doubt as to the authenticity of this situation, then please take the opportunity to seek clarification from the ‘PCCC’ as to how they will fundamentally engage British Airways. Ask them:
■ How do they intend to become recognised?
■ Who is currently funding their organisation?
■ Who is advising them and providing technical support?
■ Are they registered with the Certification Officer as an Independent Trade Union?
■ What means will be at their disposal to represent the membership in disciplinaries,
grievances and negotiations?
■ Should there be a need to pursue your case through legal avenues, who will fund the
undertaking?
■ What training, experience and resources will they bring to effectively represent and
protect you?
■ Would they sign a no strike agreement?
These are only a couple of questions that will flush this organisation out and expose it for what it is – no more than a ‘trojan horse’ designed to deliver a group of people into our midst in a sponsored and blatant act of industrial terrorism!
Fellow crew members, your solidarity is of great concern and interest to British Airways. They remain stunned and shocked at the level of your support for your trade union that delivered a 92.4% YES vote, in the face of an unprecedented publicity and
communications drive undertaken by British Airways leadership team.
Don’t let them make fools of you.
Don’t let them divide and conquer us – be resilient and strong – send British Airways and its ‘PCCC’ a clear message!
VOTE YES!
BA - You are Busted!
