On Saturday,7 November, Nottingham Stop the War Coalition laid a wreath To the Afghani Dead on a memorial in the Grounds of Nottingham Castle.

This was the subject of a previous posting, but now we have Lewis Stainer's excellent photos of the event.
The memorial is to British soldiers killed on a previous, unsuccessful attempt to invade Afghanistan in the late 1800s.
