Grilliband - your chance to ask about vestas, e.on, nukes, and that bloody grin

In the first of a series of web chats on Copenhagen with government ministers, David Miliband replies to your questions". OK, so it's MSM hosted, but no reason not to take the opp. to take this grinning buffoon to task, eh?
Does my grin look big in this?
Should read 'Tomorrow, the foreign secretary David Grinniband will be online between 12-1pm to evade your questions and smarm his way through a PR exercise in the run up to the greatest Hot Air show in History at Copenhagen in December. Grinniband joins the Guardian as part of a series of pointless but potentially entertaining PR exercises, that could potentially turn into brilliant banana skins for government ministers.'
Guardian article continues "This is your chance to quiz him on anything to do with the countdown to Copenhagen. As foreign secretary, brother of the energy and climate secretary Ed Miliband and owner of a CV that includes climate change experience as environment secretary, David Miliband is uniquely placed to talk about Copenhagen."
Should read 'This is your chance to hurl cyber-abuse at a man responsible for the continuing disastorous British involvement in Afghanistan, oil-deals with Libya, close ties with Egypt's totalitarian state and various other elements of discussion which are banned. Because he's Ed Grinniband's brother, and because Copenhagen is an international jet-setters sort of Climate Meeting, and once was a useless Environment Minister, you CAN talk to him about Vestas, E.On, the government's Coal, Nuclear, Airport and Road new build and expansion plans, the totally distracting and worse than useless 'Act on CO2' government initiative, government greenwashing of the MoD through 'ecofriendly aircraft hangers' and so on. David Grinniband is uniquely positioned atop the greasy pole of government and is a convenient figurehead for climate campaigning.'
Guardian article continues: "Want to know how hopeful he is that the UK can help governments reach an agreement to reduce emissions? What he thinks the main stumbling blocks are, such as delays to the US Waxman-Markey bill, wrangles between the developing and developed world on the historic responsibility for global warming and debates over how much money should be transferred from rich to poor countries adapting to climate change?"
Should read: 'Want to know how duplicitous he can be? To what as yet unfathamed depths of hypocrisy will this man go? What does he think the main stumbling blocks are, such as the Government's insistence on a new wave of fossil-fuel addicted infrastructure, refusal to listen to the Climate Justice Movement on the part of Governments, or debates about just how indebted we are to the poor countries and poor people of the world that we as a colonial power stole and continue to steal from?'
Grauniad article continues: "He has also signed up personally to the 10:10 climate change campaign that is being supported by the Guardian. It is encouraging people, companies and organisations to cut their carbon emissions by 10% by the end of 2010. Perhaps you'd like to know how he plans to cut his 10%."
Should read: 'He has attached himself to the self-promotion PR exercise that is the 10:10 campaign. Anyone who attended this years Climate Camp knows that you can drop about 4 tonnes (roughly third to half average emissions) by making the simple steps of abandoning your car and going vegan. Still flying like David - then you can make massive savings well beyong 10%. Perhaps you'd like to know why David is limiting himself to a mere 10%, and whether he's heard that we need to peak our emissions globally by 2015, and that we in the West need to make larger and quicker reductions being as we are, historically, responsible for most of the Carbon Dioxide in the atmosphere, and the destruction of the forests that would have recycled it."
Graniuard say: "Post your questions below and please note that we'll be treating anything that is not about environmental issues as off-topic."
Should read: 'Post your questions below and we well make sure that David only has to answer those that his spin doctors have already prepared for, and his has practised his earnest, smiling, caring, sharing new-Labour voice and hand movements on. Anything remotely controversial will be treated as off-topic, banned, and inexcusably uncool by the liberal elite that is the Guardyan monitoring board.'
Flood the questions box! Don't let David get off with a PR boost for the falling-apart Government...
