Raiv Gupta never declared animals as per notification issued in 2003 by the central Govt. as per section 63 of the Wild Life Protection Act, 1972. It would also be pertinent to mention here that farm house where Narsinhma was kept in very poor and unhealthy conditions for a long period not approved rescue center as per section 38 H of the said act. On the tips of Naresh Kadyan and directions of the DM / SSP, a team was constituted to inquire the crime and this team conduct raid on the different places related to Rajiv Gupta....four wild animals trophies were recovered, FIR was lodged with the local Police station in Muzaffarnagar. Rajiv Gupta was arrested on August 13,2009 and produced before the competent court, sent to judicial custody for 14 days as reported by PFA Haryana activist. Narsinhma was rescued and sent to Nahargarh rescue center in Jaipur. ZEE News telecast exclusive coverage of this rescue operation.
