London hunger strike in support of Camp Ashraf in Iraq

Iraqi forces recently attacked defenseless Iranian people in Iraq as a direct result of the protests in Iran. Their supporters are on hunger strike in various locations throughout the world, including Grosvenor Square in London.
There has been very little news about the brutal assaults that have been taking place against the residents of Camp Ashraf, in Northern Iraq. These people - led by women - have been resisting the fundamentalist regime in Iran for 30 years. The PMOI were given sanctuary in Iraq by Saddam Hussein and, when the US invaded Iraq, their weapons were taken away and they were given protected status under the Geneva convention.
Two days ago, after six weeks of protest inside Iran against the regime, Iraqi government forces, no doubt instigated by the Iranian regime, began a brutal assault on these people. They attacked the defenseless people with bulldozers, tear gas, batons and boiling water. At least 12 people have died and many more are injured. It is a humanitarian disaster. Supporters of the PMOI have begun protests in 19 cities of the world and a number of them are on hunger strike.

In London, there is an ongoing 24 hour demonstration, including hunger strikers, outside the US Embassy in Grosvenor Square. Please join them and show solidarity with their cause. There are similar demonstrations in 19 other cities in the world, including one outside the White House in Washington.
