In my humble opionion the Anglo-american Capitalism cannot be fixed. The "Rhineland Capitalism", that is, "Socialism Helps Capitalism but tames it" is also just a transitory stage towards what I call "Computer Controlled Communism". The AGENTS in a society all have their own interests, therefore open-source computer agents can function where intelligence isn't needed, but brute computing power and transparent programmes are a must. The crumbling infrastructure of UK and USA is a case in point. Have you seen the phantastic german trains recently. Of course germans still compain if the train is 10 minutes late, but it rarely happens.
