Despite agreeing a route for the march in advance the cops decided to block the Vaubaun bridge chucking tear gas and grenades at anyone who approached their line.

Most marchers waited patiently for the cops to leave. Some threw the gas back and generally harassed the Police until the moment they withdrew.

Despite the peaceful intentions of most...

...that gas just kept rolling in.

Enabling some to play tear gas footie.

While others chuck it back.

Catapult carry on.

Bush bonfire.

CCTV camera comes down.

To their credit the marchers whom spanned the political spectrum stood their ground in the gas and explosions intent on proceeding forward to their agreed rallying point. No arrests a few injuries and some very sore lungs all round.
