Stop the Mass Deportation of UK/Nigerian Families

A number of Nigerian families/single women are currently detained in Yarl's Wood IRC and due to be forcibly removed from the UK on a 'Ethnic Charter flight', flight number PVT007 (carrier unknown), from the UK @ 17:45 (airport unknown) to Dublin tomorrow Thursday, 11 December 2008. On arrival in Dublin it will pick up Irish/Nigerian families and then fly to Lagos, Nigeria.

Most of the UK deportees have received a letter stating that "the Home Office may, in line with enforcement operational instructions, decide not to defer removal in the face of a last minute threat or application to seek permission for judicial review".
Yet, the 'enforcement operational instructions' do not seem to clarify any of these assumed powers, and it is only at the judge's discretion to allow permission for judicial review.
This is clearly intimidating and appears to be aiming deliberately at encumbering access to available legal pathways to review decisions relating to immigration matters at the High Court.
Henceforth, today Wednesday, 10 December 2008, will see the following actions:
Lord Avebury will table a question to Her Majesty's Government asking to give the reference to the 'enforcement operational instructions' quoted in UKBA letters from unidentified 'Immigration Officials' to persons for whom removal directions have been set, and the statutory basis for denying these persons access to justice.
A petition to Mr Phil Woolas, Minister of State for Borders and Immigration, urges him to do the same, and to cancel this charter flight to allow those requiring to make further representations or seek permission for judicial review the time to do so.
A number of women and families have given consent for this matter to be reviewed legally and we are looking to find someone to advance representations.
What you can do to help:
Please send urgent faxes/Emails immediately to Rt. Hon. Phil Woolas Minister of State for Borders and Immigration, model letter (CharterFlightPW.doc) attached, which you can copy/amend/write your own version, asking that this mass deportation of UK/Nigerians should be stayed the families released from detention and granted protection in the UK.
