Originally Dave was charged with one account of assault and one account of terrorist threats. The first charge of assault was dropped after a judge ruled that there could be no assault if there was no victim. The prosecutors reacted to this by charging Dave with new accounts of both assault and terrorist threats including assault on a police officer. Dave strongly denies all charges.
