PRIMARK was exposed using child labour in Tirupur, India this summer. The company cut and ran, ditching hundreds of workers. PRIMARK will present on how they weathered the media goldrush at PR Week’s ‘Taking The Drama Out of a Crisis’ event on November 25th. An intervention is planned, come and find out more….
PRIMARK may think it’s all over, but the crisis for workers in their supply chain continues. Come and hear about daily life for workers in Tirupur, how the garment sector works, resistance and solidarity action.

PRIMARK: ‘Cut the Spin - the crisis for workers continues’
26 November, 10.30 – midday, Tower Hill, London
PRIMARK is currently bragging about its recent media cover up. In the
wake of the BBC's expose of exploited women and children producing
PRIMARK clothing, PRIMARK's Head of External Affairs is speaking at a PR
conference about how the company successfully defended its brand by
spinning the wool over customers' eyes.
Join Labour Behind the Label and Tara and Stacy from Blood Sweat and
T-shirts in telling PRIMARK that the crisis for workers is not over.
Support our stunt highlighting PRIMARK's spin by joining us at:
The Grange City Hotel, 8-14 Cooper's Row, London EC3N 2BQ - where the
conference 'Taking the Drama out of a Crisis' is happening.
Nearest tube: Tower Hill
They’ve been caught out and now they’re showing off about it. Let's show
them they can't spin the wool over our eyes!
