ME with Water cannon, crane and bulldozer
Ideen ontruim je niet.Kraken gaat door-You can't evict ideas.Squatting continues
The first building to go in the morning was PS28. It took the ME 2 hours to remove and arrest 36 people from the squat which was not barricaded. All the arrestees were charged but released from custody by the end of the evening, including those who withheld ID. In the evening Joe's Garage immediately continued with the normal Tuesday evening squatting consultancy hour in a new location over the road.
The second major eviction of the day was the Barcelona. It took the ME around five hours to get into the building and check it was empty. Of the squatters who were inside and on the roof no one was successfully found to arrest. To gain access to the property the ME resorted to brute force making multiple holes in the wall of the building.
As always during the day IMC NL kept a timeline. However, due to scheduled maintenance by the electric company their server had patchy downtime, when the IMC UK Free Spaces section was used for updates. Many thanks for the 'free space'.
