Hedy Epstein in Edinburgh on 6 October
Settler graffiti in Hebron, Palestine
Having lost her family in occupied Europe to the Nazis, for being Jewish, in the 1940s, and having recently experienced physical abuse herself from Israel’s security services, for supporting the occupied Palestinians, Hedy feels uniquely qualified to take a robust line on Israel’s policies in Palestine.
Hedy, now in her eighties and working as a human rights activist, is visiting the UK on a two-week speaking tour organised by Scottish PSC http://www.scottishpsc.org.uk/content/view/2288/434/ to publicise the need to support the Palestinians in their quest for justice.
There will be time for discussion after the talk. Free car parking is available at Halls auctioneers (next door) just over Welsh Bridge from Shrewsbury Town Centre.
