We are holding a benefit for the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society by showing Rob Stewart's documentary Shark Water, about the illegal finning of sharks. Its aim is to raise as much money as possible for the SSCS to continue defending and conserving marine wildlife, enforcing laws and disrupting illegal whaling worldwide.

On the 31st October 2008 come and join us at Sheffield Independent Film (S1 2BS) from 6:30 to show your support for the cause! There'll be a talk from ex-crew member Giles Lane about Operation Migaloo, vegan fish and chips (electricity supply permitting), Lush stall of Shark Fin Soap, crafts and plenty of vegan cakes to get your mouths round.
