Ilford Recorder- 10 September 2008 http://www.ilfordrecorder.co.uk/content/redbridge/recorder/news/
A man who died after falling from the window of a second floor flat has been named as Frank Odame.
Police say they are still unsure whether the 36-year-old Ghanaian national fell or jumped from his home in the Lambourne Court tower block, Navestock Crescent, Woodford Green.
The flat had just been raided by police and the UK Border Agency on Tuesday, September 2, when officers found Mr Odame. He died in hospital eight hours later.
An inquest is due to open at Walthamstow Coroner's Court tomorrow (11th Sept.)
An investigation into the incident is being carried out by the Directorate of Professional Standards.
A post mortem carried out the day following the tragedy gave the cause of death as a head injury.
