The "remember each eleventh" campaign is based around the idea that the eleventh of the eleventh "poppy day" isnt enough, these days, as we seem not to "remember" so much that our repetitions of past tragedies is almost past farcical . . . . hence, 12 times a year, a week of action around the eleventh around the widest possible formal/informal coalition, on the lines of the passionate reasoning that put the circular "wreath" on a lasting memorial in whitehall ( a "traffic hazard", "sticking up like a sore thumb" as the blocking efforts of the bureacrats of the time had it ) - to represent those of all spiritual traditions, politics, etc - but also those without.

TAX HAVEN BLOCKING LEGISLATION is going through congress, with multi-party backing. One of its original sponsors is the democrat presidential hope.
( The G.O.Ps hope, despite a fair bit of minderbinder machinations in his circle, is also one of those awkward, untypical types with a fair amount of integrity plus the forces background not to get cowed into things by hawks * who has shown, for example, that his energy policy isnt a prisoner of the oil corporations . . . .(shock!))
( GETTING PLAYED OFF AGAINST EACH OTHER AS NATIONS BY PEOPLE THAT MISUSED THE DELIBERATELY SUSTAINED FLAWS WITHIN THE GLOBAL "ECONOMIC" SYSTEM AS A CASH LAUNDRY, THEN HOARD THE
RESULTING LOOT IN THESE PLACES WAS ALMOST ENCOURAGING PEOPLE TO MISUSE THEIR OLD TECHNIQUES TO GET WARS GOING OR DEEPEN "QUAGMIRES". . . . )
* THE RECENT COLD-WAR-IST 16 HOUR TIMELAG ON SPEAKING OUT AGAINST THE SITUATION IN OSSETIA - THEN A BLINDSPOT ABOUT THE POGROMS TAKING PLACE WITH THE USE OF TROOPS OF GEORGIA TO BLAME RUSSIAS REACTION .... not a good sign - but much USA media misrepresentation had somewhat set the scene for those mistaken pronounciations . . . .
. . . . the very fact that somebody on Ms Rices team a couple of weeks ago had abused their position to somehow drop a hint that lead Georgias present USA educated leadership to imagine that the USAs support in strength for this repression of independence seeking minorities was promised - as informed rumours say - shows that trying to create a bogeyperson out of N.korea, or Syria, or Iraqs neighbour have all failed.
When all else fails, try to rewarm-up the old cold war . . . . as unlikely to work as it is unoriginal. Sure as heck doesnt justify the big budget slushfunds or unauthorised "triple purpose" in SDI, or trying to break up nations in S. America to copy the old rationale for the creation of, say, Kuwait . . . . old geopolitical ploys, old strategies . . . . a bunch of the dodgiest of the home front swindlers that hid under western skirts of secrecy in the cold war trying to spin the world back to the good-ol, bad-ol days of the 1950s, but with new black budget covert ops spin-off tech to abuse on "their own side". Who'd guess.
(in the UK, the PM has taken a heck of a lot of "flack" - (mainly bad photos though, it seems) for serious discussion about a total reform of the abovementioned serious flaws in the gloibal infrastructure, but doesnt seem to have fallen off his perch yet - in actual fact, there aint one good reasonwhy he should. What is ACTUALLY totally dead, extinct, finished, etc, is the defence of deregulating "triple"A"credit raters of mortgage swindlers worthless paper, etc, etc, etc, ETC!!!!)
the "theme" of this quarters "EACH ELEVENTH" campaign, therefore, remains the exposure of frauds . . . . but with a few more hints of SOLUTIONS . . . . WAKING UP etc! Burma remains on the news despite a specific reason for certain of these "MINDERBINDER" types engagement against global intervention, serious pressure, mention of one of the USA-based oil corporations involvement, etc. But then, we werent "supposed" to remember THAT either.
