If readers go to 'Editiorial Guidelines' and 'View All Posts', they will see that Indymedia has been spammed relentlessly - the perpetrators being well-known fascist Kevin Watmough and his girlfriend Kathleen McDermody. The purpose of this spamming as with much of Watmough's activities was intimidation - in this case to remove allegations that he works for 'Searchlight'. This is not the first time Indymedia has been subject to activity of this kind, but it's a shame that once again they have caved in to it.

The second of 2 hidden threads is at  http://www.indymedia.org.uk/en/2008/07/403065.html and as with the first thread it contains an image of a letter supposedly written by Kevin Watmough to Gerry Gable of 'Searchlight'. Now I don't know if this letter is genuine or not, but I do know when I'm reading bollocks, and the cod analysis by some posters of this supposed letter amounts to that.

Of course, even the fash themselves have got in on the act. McDermody claims on her vile blog that the signature on this letter is nothing like Watmough's Really? As it happens, I have a copy of Watmough's signature (above) and while it isn't completely identical to the signature on the 'Searchlight' letter, it certainly appears to have been written by the same person.

Food for thought I think. And just for the record I'm no fascist, but that doesn't make me a mug - 'Searchlight' are certainly no friend of genuine antifascists.
