All were taken from Yarl's Wood and arrived at Heathrow airport; only one family was actually put on a plane.
Three Families Pass their Fly by dates
Helen & Alistair Itanje
Kemi Ayinde, Taiwo Salami, and Yasmin Salami
Asad, Gullrukh, Maryam, Nadab and Abishai
A last minute Judicial Review on Monday for baby Alistair stopped the removal of him and his mum. Another Judicial Review late Tuesday afternoon for Asad and his family was granted and keep them safe for now.
Kemi and her family were taken on to the plane early Tuesday morning, but cabin crew ordered the escorts to take the family off the plane. Kemi said she overheard the cabin crew talking about 'all the phone calls' British Airways received about her, then they told her they had been advised she was not fit to fly!
All three campaigns wish to thank every one who faxed/emailed/rang on behalf of the families. As ever it's not over yet and won't be over until they all have leave to remain but as long as they are here, the 'struggle continues'.
Bail applications will be made for all three families.
