Eric was an activist entrapped by an informant called Anna. He never carried out an action, only guilty of conspiring to do so, and was sentenced to 19 years and 7 months imprisonment for his alleged role in an ELF-style plot.

"Words cannot explain the grief and shock we are all feeling. We ask that you keep him close to your hearts. Letters of support are needed now more than ever. As was stated numerous times in court by Eric's attorney, we intend to move quickly in filling an appeal.
