Lime Render at Ecoworks

There will be an ACTIVITY WEEKEND on the Ecoworks Strawbale building on Saturday 31st May & Sunday 1st June. We will be applying Lime Render to the outside of the building, which will involve preparing the straw, making up lime/sand mix, treading it, and applying it to the building. It should be a fun and satisfying weekend, and a good opportunity to experiment with this eco-building technique.
We will be working from 10.30 - 4.30 on both days. All welcome. Come along for any or all of the weekend!
Wear old clothes, and bring wellies if you have them; also bring your lunch (we can provide hot drinks). We do have overalls, gloves and wellies to use.
Ecoworks community garden is reached off Ransom Road, St. Ann's, Nottingham; follow the main avenue up the hill to the car park, and we are down the path of that car park. We can also provide lifts from the City Centre by arrangement.
