The picket of reporting Centre on Newport Rd Cardiff
was held by NO Borders campaigners today. It was slightly differnt in that security were using personal mobile phones to photogragh the campaigners (building has cctv) from security desk.This stopped when activist decided to take pics of them, a short time later plain clothes police turned up and said that the security were upset and claimed someone had made gestures toward them. In the following discussion with PC Cullen the obligratory arrest threat was issued but not made. The campaigner then asked for evidence of this but PC C(D)ullen said it did not exist.
At about 1.50pm a white van pulled up and people were escorted into building by officials, window blinds were closed. In the back was childs car seat and and personal effects the driver was annoyed when pic wastaken then proceeded to take images of campaigners before being ordered away by immigration official. If anyone has info or recognises immigration staff or which areas they have worked,NO BORDERS Would be very grateful
