You’ve probably heard in the news that Pete Docherty is taking a brief holiday in one of Her Majesty’s finest prisons. This will make it a little difficult for him to appear with Babyshambles at the carnival. The good news is that Drew McConnell et al will still be there, performing with the Rock Against Racism Allstars! Definitely an event that will not be repeated. I’m sworn to secrecy as to the complete line-up, but just ask yourself, who was at the 1978 carnival, and who are the biggest names today?
