Foie Gras Off the Menu in Leeds!
Leeds Animal Rights | 03.04.2008 14:39 | Animal Liberation
These actions have helped highlight the cruelty involved in the production of the 'delicacy' and as a result, over a dozen restaurants and caterers have pulled foie gras from their menus.
Leeds Animal Rights are now happy to announce that the last restaurant in the city, Chino Latino, have now issued a statement and are stopping the sale of the dish.
A big thank-you goes out to everyone who supported our campaign, either by writing a letter or coming on a demonstration, and we call for all contact with Chino Latino and their parent company, Park Plaza Hotels, to cease.
We will be announcing a new campaign soon, but until then please support the Liverpool Animal Rights Group and politely contact their last fur seller, Cricket.
