The admins are now worried sick about their influence and control being diluted by the growing band of people intending to be at the meeting and make representation in person to become admins. Because of this they have attempted to control the process by preventing registration for the event by people they do not approve of.

This of course will not stop us, we will be there. There to make our applications in person as the online registration was blocked, there to make clear our feelings on the anti semitic agenda being pushed by some admins and of course there to confront face to face those persons who smear and threaten from the safety of a keyboard in South London.

We intend to raise the following.

A proposal that admins are elected
Admins serve a fixed term before re-election - 12 months is the current view
An Admin who fails to follow the guidelines as agreed by the collective will be removed from admin duties.
An admin who becomes involved with or who promoted the views of an individual or organisation that has views which are racist, homophobic or sexist to be suspended.

If the current Indymedia collective wish to meet with us in advance we are happy to do this providing the meeting is documented and the notes and decisions made public within 24 hours of the meeting.
