Two Events on International Day of Palestine Solidarity 29th November

Thursday is the United Nations promoted International Day of Solidarity with
the Palestinian People (

To mark this day Sheffield Palestine Solidarity Campaign is holding two
events: A vigil at 5pm and a public meeting with a guest speaker at 7.30pm.

Vigil/Protest 5pm Thursday 29th November, Sheffield Town Hall We will be
focusing on the continued humanitarian disaster facing Gaza strip population
of Palestine who are subjected to a continuing WORLD BOYCOTT. Please come
along and show your solidarity.
Public Meeting Dr Asad Khan, 7.30pm, Thursday 29th November, Quaker Meeting
House Dr Khan will be speaking of his two week tour to Palestine in August
2007 - including his experience of detention at Ben Gurion airport by
Israeli security officials. Leaflet attached. Free entry, all welcome,
donations very welcome!
