Land Reclaimation

Reform in Land Devision

In the Ragged Trousered Philanthropists Tressel has Owen saying.
"Now," continued Owen, "I am a capitalist; or rather I represent the landlord and capitalist class. That is to say, all these raw materials belong to me. It does not matter for our present argument how I obtained possession of them, the only thing that matters now is the admitted fact that all the raw materials which are necessary for the production of the necessaries of life are now the property of the landlord and capitalist class. I am that class; all these raw materials belong to me."
How does he,the capatalist own all of the raw materials to make the neccesseties of life?By force. In Feudal times.Feudalism is a term invented in the sixteenth century by royal legal minds - primarily in England - to describe the decentralized and complex social, political, and economic society out of which the modern state was emerging. The term "feudalism" came from the German vieh, or "cow," the measure of wealth among the early Germans, a term that gave rise to the medieval word fief. "Fief" simply meant "something of value." In the agricultural world of the time, "something of value" was usually land. But the sixteenth-century legal minds pictured this land as having been under the control of a powerful king who distributed much of it to his followers, men of distinction whose breeding and upbringing particularly fitted them for governing and giving battle. In a similar way as a gangster mob would devide Manors. The feudal lords of England, through the men they had distributed fiefs, began to exert economic control over the villages and districts under their control. The woods became the lord's possession, and hardwoods -- useful for building and weapons and could not be cut except with the lord's express permission. All fuel had to be used sparingly, and the lord was paid for wood taken from the woodlands, game caught there, pigs put to pasture there, and so on. The lords also build ovens, baths, grain mills and the like as monopolies. Villagers had to patronize the lord's monopolies and pay for the privilege. This gave the lords the opportunity of granting fiefs other than land, such as the income from a mill in a certain village, or the revenue from fishing rights in a certain stream. The legal minds soon began to ritulalise what in reality was a deal. The Party of the First Part - the dominus, often translated as "lord," but just as easily (and accurately) translated as "boss" - made an arrangement with the Party of the Second Part - the vassal, a word derived from the Celtic word for "boy," or miles, a word meaning "soldier".A sharing of the spoils. So in the present day we have stolen goods recieved and defended by law in protecting the property of the ancestors of the thieves. All dressed up and hidden behind cloaks ceremony. When the reality is they have no legitimate right to it at all.
In the 1970's there was a case at Liverpool crown court.A defence against a possesion order of a large Manor house. The defendents, squatters said the house was the property of the people has it was built on land that had been taken from the people in Feudal times. The case raised so much interest in legal circles it was defended by a barrister acting as Amicus curiae.Inevitably the defendents lost. But the judge commented that the case had merit but that was the way it was in those times.Meaning we take it and we make it legal later.
Democracy is now the order of the day.So lets have it and pool the land and share it.
