Dragon Hill - White Horse - Uffington Castle -
Ridgeway Path - Wayland's Smithy (1 mile walk).
Talking Circle / Powwow inside Uffington Castle:
3pm and 9pm on Saturday -- Noon on Sunday
Dragon Hill - Legend says Saint George slew the dragon on this man-made, special, small hill. The bare place, where the grass does not grow, is where the dragon's blood fell.
Uffington White Horse - A light flew low over the Uffington White Horse, from south to north, at the Sitting Bull Gathering in 1993.
Wayland's Smithy - Special place - a one mile pleasant walk, south-west on the Ridgeway footpath. Are you a little tired and worn out, slightly beaten... in need of new strength? If so, take a stroll from the Uffington area, west along the Ridgeway footpath to Waylands Smithy. Tradition says warriors went to the Smithy to gain new, special swords, forged by Wayland. If you go with others, sit awhile, and make a prayer for new energy and for new help.
UFFINGTON CASTLE - Meetings / Powwows:
Talking Circle / Powwow inside Uffington Castle:
