Tent all set up and just went for a walk round to see what's happening. Funny how you can spot where people come from by what they do:

The French all arrived in cars and have the best tents

The Germans love a BBQ (although they all seem to eat meat - ugh !)

The Italians all want a fight with the police as soon as possible.

The Brits are the ones with the Samaba drums (not 100% popular with everyone but I love 'em)

Other news:

The announced rally at the Hanse-Kaserne which was cancelled yesterday is likely to be tomorrow.
Towards the end of yesterday's migration demo, some Clowns were making fun of cops using, among other things, water pistols. At one point, a cop 'confiscated' a water pistol, and his carrying it was a nice pose for mainstream photographers. Later on, Spiegel published a story that 8 cops were affected by chemicals used by the clowns. They later edited the story on their website to say police are accusing the clowns of that - pathetic !

Toilets here all blocked up again. Not sure who is responsible for keeping them clear but they are not doing a good job.

Rest of my friends ariive later today so we're off into Heiligendamm to try and find a good restaurant.
