Spring Into Action Central Venue Announcement
Spring Into Action | 03.04.2007 16:23 | Climate Camp 2006 | Climate Chaos | Ecology | Free Spaces | Sheffield
J. B. Spray factory
Built in 1870, the historic lace mill - a grade 2 listed building - has sat empty for years. While it's not exactly luxurious, it offers a good amount of space for workshops and cooking, plenty of smaller rooms that can be used for sleeping in, and a breathtaking aerial view of the city.
People are now welcome to come down and help out with preparations for the week - there's a fair bit of tidying and construction of facilities to be done over the next few days, so the more the merrier.
Sleeping areas are surprisingly comfy - there are numerous mattresses and smaller rooms available, so anyone staying over (which is encouraged) should be able to get a decent night's kip!
The final planning meeting will be at 8pm at the factory (not at the Sumac) tonight.
See you there!
