I got sick of ripping those recruitment adverts from bus after bus, while it might have been fun to begin with, it's getting old now. I decided to complain, My request is that as many people as possible will do the same, and hopefully we can get them removed once and for all, after we're done with TFL, i suggest we'll start a similar "action" against the job centre. the following is my complaint letter, I would appreciate if many more people will do the same, as well as contribute to the effort by ripping those deadly adverts off. It would be nice if when people complain they could leave their letter in the comments, so as to have some form of record.


Hello,
I am writing to complain about your blatant disregard for human life. While you would not advertise cigarettes on a public platform such as on buses, you are advertising things that are far worse. You, by placing recruitment adverts on our buses, can and probably are responsible for atrocities, and even the death of some of your clients. Never mind political opinion, with disregard to the mass public opposition to our government's illegal war, the most fundamental points remain, AS A RESULT OF YOUR ADVERTS PEOPLE WILL KILL AND DIE! as a result of these adverts genocides will and are happening, as a result of these adverts kids are slaughtered, babies are born mutated, cancer is spreading, and families are torn apart. because of your blatant disregard to the most basic of human morality, more people are dying.
I wish I could completely boycott the London transport in protest, but unfortunately this isn't practical. by placing those adverts you are directly supporting this illegal,unpopular and unjust war, and contribute to global instability and death. as a consequence of those adverts genocides occur that are unimaginable to us, things happen that would not happen in our worst nightmares, as a result of seeing those adverts, people who otherwise would not even consider this, might join the army, and regardless again of the controversial nature of this, and my own personal political opinions, people might join the army with complete trust that they are doing the right thing, they might even go to Iraq and train their security forces, not knowing that they are directly contributing to the piles of bodies found each day in Iraq, with drill holes and other torture hallmarks. They might get to fly a jet, and hit their targets precisely, never knowing that the target was full of civilians, and that the missiles fired are packed with depleted uranium, a subsistence so horrific, which is proved to contribute to cancer rate, to unimaginable birth defects and suffering.

I can only beg you to stop advertising those, I cannot use your service conscientiously while I know it profits from such atrocities and worse, while it contribute to the war effort, and while it brings us a step closer to total annihilation.

Please reply with your decision, and I will know choose how to act accordingly.
