The disgraced 'ethnic' MP Keith Sleaze Vaz has had a quite hectic 24 hours in the media and Westminster spotlight. He is now part of an almost ubiquitous gang of India-capitalism-Right-linked spin operatives doing what Blair has been doing - promoting British commercial and related interests on the huge market for capitalism that is many [and the mainly westernised centres in the selected, northern and southern belt] states of India. Vaz hit the British PMQs this lunchtime. As he did Jon Snow on Channel 4 News last night. On the surface, on the issue of Shilpa Shetty being allegedly bullied and racistly attacked on Channel 4 CBBH. So who is reviving the career and the operation - of Sleaze Vaz. Blair-approved climber of the grease pole Keith Sleaze Vaz has hit the big time news once again. This time on the back of the C4 CBBH and the Indian contribution to the art of British media brainwashing – Shilpa Shetty.
Sleaze was almost reverentially given a platform on Channel 4 News by the ever pliant Jon Snow on Tuesday [16 Jan 2007] night. And at lunchtime today, Blair complied by giving Sleaze a spot on the PMQs.
What may have been overlooked by all the BBC and other obligers of the spin agenda set via Sleaze is that Sleaze has been one of the most odiously corrupt members of the British House of Commons and that he has not shown any discernment of the distinction between right and wrong.
Whenever a topic has appeared to be exploitable by Sleaze, he has jumped right at the front of the queue and maximised his petty profit while the people whose sufferings he exploited went on to suffer some extra grief because of his claiming to champion their causes
No account has been published of just how much benefit he obtained at the expense of the victims of the BCCI disaster. Sleaze robbed that whole camapgn and made sure that most of the victims lost out while he seemed to almost personify their woes as he shamelessly and immorally grabbed and hogged media spotlights in the name of the victims of the BBC fraud and scam.
One wonders just what moral legitimacy this rent a quote hireling has to opine at any time on any issue that has at its centre the immorality of the ones holding power in Britain in any walk of life.
One also wonders just who is working the agenda that Sleaze is following.
18 years ago, Sleaze was scarcely in a position to command anything like the media attention his Indian impersonation has been allowed to be given over the past 24 hours.
But Sleaze did not think twice before appearing as the ‘chief face’ of the ’Muslims’ then demonstrating in London against Salman Rushdie’s ‘Satanic Verses’.
For the past ten years, Sleaze has not made anything like the passionate impersonation of Muslims . yet in the past 10 years, there have been far more attacks on the human rights of the Muslins in Britain than was the case in May 1989 when Sleaze was hogging the ,limelight outside Number 10 Downing Street as being the spokesman [!] for the aggrieved and outraged Muslims!
