In the sixth round, about 3,3 billion barrels were“sold” for approximately 1/500 of its value of market.
Under and behind the judicial battle about the auction you could feel the abusive price of Brazilian fuels: we are paying for the liter of gasoline about 25 times what do pay our Venezuelan neighbors, while the ANP works “mysteriously” to vender billions of barrels of Brazilian oil, set free for exportation, for 0,2% of its value of market, alleging to be thus speeding the “national self-sufficiency”.
The agencies, that appeared as malignant tumors in the Brazilian state during governments FHC, look exactly destined to alienate the national patrimony.
In the sixth round, about 3,3 billion barrels were“sold” for approximately 1/500 of its value of market.
This auction was cancelled in function of one threshold of 9th Federal Court of Brasilia, decurrent of action of the representative of the PT of Paraná, Clair da Flora Martins, against the limitation of the amount of blocks bought for the companies.
The round also was blocked by another threshold, gotten for the Engineering club of Rio De Janeiro in the eve of the auction, but that it was annulled by the ANP. In the last Wednesday, the situation was reverted and the threshold of the club, also against the limitation of purchases of areas, came back to invigorate.
The “great press”? Absolutely silent...
