exhibit a, the free newsletter for prisoners and the public, seeks entries for our next edition. they will need to be submitted in full by the end of january 2007, but if you know what you plan to write please do let us know about it so we can reserve space in advance.
articles should not be longer than 600 words and can be much shorter if you wish.
pictures should be in black and white and no bigger than A5 please.
we are looking for all sorts of prison-related pieces, whether about your own experiences (as a prisoner or a supporter of someone in prison), your opinions, or facts about a particular case/prison/the prison system.
pictures and poems are also very welcome.

all material should be tame enough to get through the prison censors, ie not too obviously inflammatory - again please get in touch if you are not sure.
we distribute at least 1,000 every time we publish, with at least one fifth going to prisoners and many others going to activists. mostly these are people in britain but not exclusively.
