imagine your excitement, you take your children for a walk from the mountains of concrete that has become Leeds, tens of thousands of cars belching out fumes as you leave kirkstall road and head for kirkstall valley, a small strip of land just outside the town centre, from the bushes you sight a urban deer, extinct from this area for hundreds of years, you are treated to the beauty of nature, well not any more, Leeds city council are to vote upon the culling of these deer following a complaint from a small holder that they are eating his crops, the trader says he should not need a fence, he wants the deer dead, and the council are listening.
The question, what will we do, stand by or get off our backsides and
"save the Kirkstall deer"
