RE : ODD SUNDAY TIMES SPIN ABOUT NEW UN SECRETARY, 1/10/6

The UN is re-electing its Secretary at present.
So what?
So, this time, the focus is higher than it ever was at the FLAWS of the UN -AT THE SAME TIME THAT THE INCUMBENT (+ HIS DEPUTY) - despite the fact that they had to get into post themselves with the rubber stamp of the big powers - ( have each spoken out AGAINST the "big powers" .

( but - MUCH OF THAT "FOCUS" IS AIMED AT DIMINISHING ITS EFFECT EVEN FURTHER . IT HAS - AT LAST - FOUND A VOICE SEPERATE FROM THE "BIG POWERS" - IT MIGHT HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO REGAIN THE RESPECT OF THE ACTUAL PEOPLES OF THE WORLD - IF "IT" SEES THAT IT HAS A LOT OF "CATCHING UP" TO DO, AS "REFORMS" GO, IT SHOULDNT FEAR THE WORD "RADICAL". OF COURSE WE ARE "IT" - IF WE DONT ACT IN THAT SPIRIT - THEN IT MIGHT CONTINUE TO GET "USED" AS A TOOL OF POWERFUL SCAMS )


So - - - - if radicals OR establishment types EVER want to see anything in the place of the UN - at all - except for a basket case remnant, to get the blame for everything in the world that gets trashed by the stupidity of the racketeers, the big powers - or the people that "influence" them most - are almost certain to try very hard to get somebody that REMAINS a puppet - you wont get a chance this good again.
( the door is about to swing shut - but it aint ever opened this much - EVER )
( The UN secretary sets the priorities, describes the terms of the debates, etc.)
( REMEMBER the GCHQ case when the current USA admin tried to get Britain to spy out the other voting nations as the iraq war was getting engineered. )

The "STITCH UP" in the 1940s then 1950s was to create a cardboard cut-out that was either "cover" or "took the blame" - but was kept without the key things to stop MOST of the disasters from happening

BUT - ITS 2006. Even the racketeers - as breathing types, need a functioning UN - to pre-empt the numerous imminent disasters that the world is accelerating towards, even in advance of the "global turbulence", plagues, bio-tech disasters etc that can also get forestalled if people across the world are allowed to act as a community that THINKS STRAIGHT.
