For this reason, a group of climate camp participants based in York invites you to an open meeting at the Friends Meeting House, Friargate. The purpose of this meeting is firstly, to discuss the camp for climate action, its consequences, influence and experience; and secondly, to discuss ways forward for environmental action in and around the York area. With the threat of an incinerator on the horizon, increased housing development, rising air pollution and areas of Yorkshire at risk of flooding, ecological issues are human issues that cannot be ignored. This meeting is open to any and all, from experienced activists to the simply curious.
