DEMO DALLAS COURT - THURSDAY 24TH AUGUST 2006
DETC/NWASDG | 20.08.2006 22:12 | Anti-racism | Migration
Although the Defend Eucharia and Timeyi Campaign (DETC) set up to defend them, has suceeded in sending over 900 individual letters to the Home Office, and collected over 2200 signatures, appealing for leave to remain, they have so far refused to grant them compassionate leave to remain. This is also despite the secret war going on in Nigeria, instigated by British companies, especially Shell. Eucharia's husband, daughter and mother were also victims of this war. Eucharia's husband, daughter have not been seen or heard of since April 2004.
Solidarity not sympathy! We call on all supporters of Eucharia and Timeyi, anti-racists, socialists, anti-imperialists, anti-deportation campaigners, democrats, etc. to:
Demonstrate against Eucharia and Timeyi's possible detention on Thursday 24 August 2006!
Defend all asylum seekers! No to all Labour's racist asylum laws! No to deportations! Close down Dallas Court!
