NATIONAL DAN ACTION IN MANCHESTER - EARLY NOTICE.
In unity with other local and national groups of disabled people acting
against the Government's proposed incapacity benefit cuts, members of the
disabled people's Direct Action Network are discussing and planning to bring
our skills to a demonstration which will coincide with the Labour Party
Conference.
Gathering at:
Manchester town centre
(time in afternoon and location to be arranged)
on Monday 25th September 2006.
We will collect signatures for the petition against the benefit cuts and
march to a fringe meeting (which is at 7pm) organised by those opposed to
the so-called welfare reform bill. New DANners always welcome!
