     This week's show features stories from China Radio International, Spanish National Radio, Radio Netherlands, Radio Havana Cuba, and the Voice of Russia.
From CHINA- China said that sanctions against N Korea for launching test missiles last week would only increase tensions and is an overreaction. The Israeli attacks on Palestine continued to intensify and then Israeli troops moved into Lebanon following more soldier kidnappings.
From SPAIN- On Monday Iraq's Prime Minister pleaded for all Iraqis to act as brothers and stop the murders based on sectarianism- the government also asked the UN to lift immunity from local law for US soldiers. There was a large conference of European and African leaders in Morocco to find solutions to the illegal migration of poor Africans to Europe.
  From NETHERLANDS- A press review on the assassination of a leading Chechen rebel, Shamil Basayev, by Russian hitmen in the days prior to the opening of the G-8 conference in St Petersburg. Terrorists who set off bombs in subways of Mumbai India were most likely a militant group which opposes Indian rule in the divided Kashmir region. The Dutch Foreign Minster assured Hugo Chavez that the Antilles islands will not serve as a springboard for a US invasion of Venezuela.
 From CUBA- First, demonstrations in El Salvador over increases in the cost of living saw the military clash with a broad spectrum of citizens. Then comments responding to Condi Rice's statement that "Cubans have no greater friend than the US." This following the US drafting of a plan called "A Future For Cuba."
From RUSSIA- A commentary on the expansion of NATO involvement beyond its traditional range of influence, such as the former Soviet Union and Afghanistan.
