Worst Ever Period

The recent code changes were a rather weak attempt to prevent us logging and recording the removed posts and comments but with the help of our contacts within the Editorial Commitee and some insipred work by the software team here at the university we were soon able to be back in.
Although not reported anywhere on the site over 70 passwords were deactiviated queitly in early January from those deemed to be "not active enough" - those who consider themselves part of the IMC project may wish to check if their access has been affected. The IMC team through its knowedge of the code can still gain access although we are having difficulty in stopping our posts being edited. The last two were removed by the editors but we managed to keep them within the "Hidden" section.
For the record over 370 posts were removed from the site rather than being sent to "Hidden" and just short of 600 comments removed. Full details and copies of the original post are available on our website as usual.
